The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cleaning equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and other machinery to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Perform sanitation tasks across different areas, ensuring all surfaces are hygienic and compliant with safety standards.
Follow safety protocols diligently, including chemical handling safety procedures, to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep floors in excellent condition.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the overall upkeep of the premises.
Handle chemicals safely according to established procedures, ensuring proper storage and disposal.
Engage in heavy lifting when necessary for moving equipment or supplies.
Travel between different locations or states as required to complete cleaning assignments efficiently.
Qualifications

Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers confidently and safely.
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to chemical handling.
Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking during shifts.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation or willingness to travel between states as needed.
